Can he build while the building stays open?

Yes. Apple's store on Leidseplein in Amsterdam was rebuilt while it kept trading, together with Apple's chief designer. The same applies to hotels and offices in operation: work is sequenced around the people who use the building.

Who does he lead on site?

All trades, from tender to handover, including procurement, quality and schedule. On the EFCC headquarters in Abuja that meant sixty people on one site.

Which languages does he speak?

German, English and Turkish fluently, plus basic Arabic. Drawings, tenders and site meetings run in the language the project needs.

What should a first message contain?

The place, the type of building, the stage you are in and what worries you most. A floor plan or a tender document helps, but is not needed for a first reply.

What happens after I send an inquiry?

It goes straight to his inbox as an email. He reads every inquiry himself and replies personally, with a first view on scope, sequence and what he would need to look at on site.

From 2008 to 2014 Cengiz Türk worked at the side of Abdul Latif Jameel, as his right hand on the ground. Fit-out and façade lead for the family's five-star hotel facing the Holy Mosque in Makkah, and for private villas in Dubai and Jeddah.

From the first tile to the last key.

He began as a master tiler in Germany and became the person owners call when a building has to be finished right. In Saudi Arabia he led interior and façade work for Abdul Latif Jameel, including a five-star hotel across from the Kaaba. In Abuja he ran the fit-out of the EFCC headquarters with sixty people. In the Seychelles and the Grenadines he built luxury spas on islands where every material arrives by boat, and in Dubai the complete spa landscape of the W at Al Habtoor City.

In Amsterdam he rebuilt the Apple Store while it stayed open, working alongside Apple's chief designer, and delivered Chanel and Uniqlo as new builds. Back in Germany he built TopShop stores in Bonn and Cologne, a phosphor plant in Siershahn, a multi-storey car park and the regional government offices in Darmstadt. He speaks German, English and Turkish and takes each project from tender to handover.
